Creating Your Fashion Identity In The Music Business

Workshop - Live Art

  • Are you an aspiring fashion designers/stylists?
  • Are you in a band and want advice on how to go about defining your image?

On the 24th March, NOISE LAB welcomes fashion stylist, Sara Darling, who has styled the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, the Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Kasabian, The Feeling amongst many others, who'll host a visual image workshop.

A band's appearance is so important in videos and PAs.  It can make or break a fan base! 

The workshop will involve:

  • a brainstorming session
  • making a moodboard -from images of things that inspire you from magazines, fashion pictures etc


Bring with you:

  • Cuttings of photos from bands/personalities/actors/celebrities/models etc
  • a couple of your favourite items of clothing - be prepared to talk about what you like about them!

 
We will provide the utensils, scissors, glue etc.

How to get involved
There are only 12 spaces available; however anyone wanting to come after that, is welcome to come and observe, there will be plenty of invaluable information to catch.
