![]() A true inspiration and one of Britain’s foremost graphic artists and an influential academic and writer whose paintings and drawings have celebrated and chronicled the worlds of street style and club culture. Wigan first gained attention in the mid 80s for his illustrations for iD magazine and the NME with career highlights including painting murals and exhibiting at London and New York's Limelight Clubs at Andy Warhol's suggestion (who described the work as 'hot'). Many of his projects have taken place in Japan including the Mark Wigan merchandise shops throughout Japan. The term public space can be extended to media space. Any person that tries to understand art has to face the media visibility, in whatever form. My street art work deals with unfiltered analogue zones of seeing, here (in Manchester) it is about collecting, analysing analogue experience. Akim works with 3d installation in public spaces. As part of the NOISE workshop via active engagement, participants experience the urban space with their own bodies, to find answers how we can experience the public space. For example, what is the difference between the perception of an individual and a collective? This will be achieved through actions and interventions in the public space. Want to provoke different views of perceptions. The actions can be captured on film and analysed. Aims are:
